We offer repairs, rehabilitation of properties, and completion of prior construction where applicable. We strive to ensure that materials and improvements are in keeping with the original architecture, while choosing cost-effective methods and material choices. All work will be performed to meet or exceed local building codes and inspections. In the cases of higher-value properties where upgraded materials or special work are warranted, we will meet with the client to discuss how best to reach the goal of enhancing the property's marketability in the given price range. Bottom Line: If you want it done right, with no headaches, and at a reasonable price, look no further!
Here is a list of the preservation services we offer: Lock Change We can change any and all lock(s) at the property following the client's requirements as instructed, usually within 24 hours of the request. Boarding To further secure the property, temporary boarding of windows and doors may be necessary, until repair of existing entry points, (or new installations) can be scheduled. Care will be exercised to minimize further damage, while providing maximum protection. Debris Removal Removal of interior, exterior and/or hazardous debris from the property as authorized by client request. Winterize The plumbing at the property may be especially vulnerable during winter months. For western North Carolina, guidelines recommend winterization for unoccupied property between the months of October through April. To prevent freeze damage, the water lines will be drained at the low point, in addition to treating the waste traps. If a house has radiant or steam heat systems, additional steps will be required. Pool For safety and public health, securing a pool or hot tub is of paramount importance. This could include pumping water out of the pool, chemical treatment and padlocking the pool gate, if required. Windows & Doors We will replace any broken glass in windows and doors to bring the property back to original status. If a window or door is beyond repair, the client will be notified. The new work will match the original (single/double glazing, etc) as close as is reasonable, and per the clients request. Lawn & Garden To maintain the property's appearance, and prevent further degradation or invitation to vandalism, lawn maintenance includes mowing, weeding, edge trimming, sweeping of paved areas, and removal of clippings, cuttings and incidental debris. |
